GENERAL M/S ARAKA Enterprises (Private) Limited, having its registered office in Islamabad, is wholly owned entity from private sector investors. M/S ARAKA Enterprises (Private) Limited is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of Safety Fuse (widely used blasting accessory) and Black Powder (a low-strength powder explosive). Black Powder is commonly used in salt mining, and it is also used as a core in the manufacturing of Safety Fuse. The company’s head office is located at 1 floor, Aklasc Plaza, G-10 Markaz Islamabad, and the manufacturing facility is located near the village Chaq Baqar Shah, at 20km from Chakwal on Chakwal-Sohawa Road Tehsil and District Chakwal. The factory site is located in the southwest of the Chakwal–Sohawa road. M/s ARAKA Enterprises (Private) st Limited has been engaged in the manufacturing and sales of the above-mentioned products for more than 36 years. For this purpose, it is complying with all relevant rules under the Pakistan Explosives Rules 2010.
The company is one of the pioneer entities in the private engaged in manufacturing and sales of explosive materials and blasting accessories, namely Safety Fuse and Black Powder (also known as Gun Powder) since the early eighties. Initially manufacturing facility was located in the Capital Territory near Margalla Hills, but owing to sensitive nature of the business and the expansion of the development plan of the Capital Development Authority, the manufacturing facility was relocated to its presently located in Tehsil and District Chakwal, province of Punjab. The set up consist of indigenously developed process technology, required plant and equipment in accordance with prevailing Rules & Regulations and observing full safety protocols. With the passage of time, adopting will of improvement and deploying available resources, putting tireless hard work, initially a small setup has now turned into a sizable production facility.
Realizing the attractive growth in consumption of commercial explosives and blasting accessories in/around the country compared to the limited available production capability, the company has decided to expand its manufacturing base by establishing a production facility for a wide range of commercial explosives/accessories products.
